The chasen is the tool that makes or breaks your matcha. Crafted from a single piece of golden bamboo with 80 fine prongs, it creates a smooth, lump-free cup with a dense, creamy foam. No shortcuts. No substitutes.
Made to traditional Japanese specifications. Works with all our matcha and hojicha powders.

How To Use
Whisk matcha powder with hot water in a W or M motion until a foam covers the entire top of the matcha.
Care Instructions
Care Instructions
Soak prongs in hot water for 10 seconds before use. Do not press down or let prongs hit the bowl. Rinse immediately after use. Do not use soap. Dry on a whisk stand. Note: the whisk will bloom after first use — this is normal.
